Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 21, 2026
Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Rylan Roberts, operating under the public service name TruNorth Social, handles personal information in connection with the TruNorth Social website and an intended approval-first social-media-management service for business clients.
As of October 21, 2026, the approval-first TruNorth Social workflow remains under validation. It is not presented as fully operational, generally available, or self-service. Automated Facebook and Instagram delivery is held while delivery visibility is being validated. Any client content delivery requires separate human approval.

Website information
The existing public marketing website uses GoDaddy Website Builder. A separate temporary legal-pages site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and contains only this Privacy Policy, the Data Deletion Instructions, and a minimal index linking to them. It does not replace or alter the GoDaddy website.
Contact form
The existing GoDaddy website contact form requests:
- name;
- email address; and
- message content.
Do not send sensitive personal, financial, health, password, or account-login information through the contact form.
The form may also display an optional checkbox about updates, promotions, or email-list communications. TruNorth Social does not currently rely on that option as an active email-subscription channel. If that functionality is activated or an email-marketing provider is added, this policy will be updated before the option is used for marketing.
Cookies, traffic information, and reCAPTCHA
The existing GoDaddy website displays a cookie notice stating that cookies are used to analyze website traffic and improve the website experience. When cookie tracking is allowed, website code may store a visitor identifier and permitted campaign-click information in browser storage or cookies.
The existing GoDaddy website contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA. Google may process technical and device information when reCAPTCHA is used, as described in Google’s privacy materials. The temporary Cloudflare legal-pages site has no contact form, marketing signup, or reCAPTCHA.
Information handled for authorized client service
If a client service is separately authorized, TruNorth Social may handle:
- approved captions, photos, videos, proposed publication times, and approval records;
- authorized Facebook Page and Instagram professional-account identifiers, names, and connection details needed to bind activity to the intended account;
- authorized client-contact or operator information needed to confirm access and approval authority;
- post or media identifiers, permalinks, publication times, delivery-verification records, public-visibility observations, and supported performance metrics; and
- local operational records, including package fingerprints and cryptographic hashes used to verify that approved material was not changed before delivery.
The intended workflow does not use Meta permissions to send direct messages, manage advertising, access personal audience identities, or operate client accounts without an explicit connection and approval record.
Clients must supply only photos, videos, testimonials, and other source material they are authorized to share. This includes obtaining any required permissions, releases, or consents for identifiable people, homes, customer information, or other protected material before it is submitted for use.
Why information is handled
Information is handled only as reasonably necessary to:
- respond to website inquiries;
- operate and protect the website contact form;
- identify and connect an intended client Facebook Page or linked Instagram professional account after authorization;
- prepare, review, and bind an exact approved content package to an approved destination and time;
- carry out a separately approved delivery attempt;
- verify the resulting platform object; and
- prepare limited operational reporting using supported platform metrics.
Service providers and sharing
Website information may be processed through GoDaddy Website Builder and its contact-form functionality. Google reCAPTCHA is used to protect the contact form.
Approved client content and the minimum associated account information required for a separately authorized delivery attempt may be sent to Meta. TruNorth Social does not sell website inquiry information, client content, approval records, or account metadata.
Storage, safeguards, and retention
Current operational records are stored locally by Rylan Roberts. Credentials used to connect authorized Meta accounts are protected for the current Windows user and are not included in routine delivery ledgers or reports.
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information under the operator’s control. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Client approval, delivery, observation, and privacy-request records are retained for the active client-service term plus 12 months, then reviewed for deletion. Website inquiry information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry and meet applicable recordkeeping needs.
Records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, client-review holds, or another documented recordkeeping need.
Access, correction, and deletion requests
For requests concerning records under Rylan Roberts’ control, contact privacy@trunorthsocial.ca.
TruNorth Social aims to acknowledge a logged request within seven business days and to resolve the request, or explain the remaining issue and next step, within 30 days where feasible and subject to applicable law.
Information hosted independently by Meta, GoDaddy, Google, or another provider may also need to be addressed through that provider or the relevant client account.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before TruNorth Social materially changes its website data handling, adds service providers, enables new analytics or advertising tools, begins using an email-marketing service, adds messaging or advertising services, begins new categories of client-data processing, or expands the intended Meta workflow.
